The Ceralti farm has it's roots in territory of Castagneto Carducci. Property of the Rutili family it has passed down through the generations and is now known under the name of Alfeo.
Located in the commune of Castagneto Carducci the farms' land on both hillside and plain enjoys a variety of differing climatic conditions which allow a wide range of cultivation.
In first place, for reasons of tradition and passion come the vineyards.
At present approximately 7 hectares of vineyards, for the most part in the hills between Castagneto and Bolgheri where the soil, microclimate and southern exposure combine to produce unique wine, are tended by hand.
The picking and maceration are carried out by hand, following traditional methods, vinification takes place using modern techniques.
The Azienda has always produced wine and in 1977 produced the first Cabernet destined for ageing. In 1998 new vineyards of Cabernet, Merlot and Sangiovese were planted and more vineyards have been planted since 2001.
The Azienda also grows fruit, olives and cereals.


A larger area is given over to the Pendolino, Frantoio and Moraiolo olive trees, which produce the olives for our finest quality extra virgin olive oil. We also produce a speciality de-stoned extra virgin oil.

The farm also has a large area dedicated to peach trees surrounding the old farmhouses, now refurbished and available for holiday rental.
The closeness to the sea (1.5 km.), the scenery and the tastes and perfumes of the countryside offer an ideal haven for those in search of a holiday in peace and tranquillity exploring nature and ancient traditions.
And this is the difference.
Our guests are welcome (if they so desire) to participate in the agricultural activities here. Pruning, binding, harvesting peaches, grapes and olives, joining in and combining the relaxation of a vacation with the spirit of cultivation and care of the land.
